Odd Society Spirits partners with Bad Abby Vintage to present a Fashion and Art Fair on December 5 and 6 from 1p.m. to 11p.m.

For two days, Odd Society’s cocktail lounge will be transformed into an indie market exhibiting locally made treasures, thoughtfully chosen vintage clothing and original works of art. This event brings independent artists, makers and collectors together for a rare shop-small experience under one roof. Shoppers will pore over exclusive and uncommon finds while enjoying a hot cider or cocktail crafted from spirits made onsite in Odd Society’s distillery. Check out a complete list of vendors below:

Bad Abby Vintage
Featuring a winter collection of interesting thrifted and second-hand pieces, Abby Glanz, aka Bad Abby, will demonstrate her passion for pushing boundaries through her chosen pieces. Abby endeavours to help people find inspiring clothes that empower.

Hives for Humanity
Hives for Humanity has collaborated with Odd Society Spirits on a third edition of barrel-aged honey. This year, East Van Honey was poured into a cask that first held Prospector Rye, then maple syrup, then East Van Vodka—the result is a deep, rich and soothing, spirit-infused honey.

Emma Neal, Artist
Emma Neal is a visual artist based in Vancouver. She is currently in her fourth year at Emily Carr University of Art and Design. Emma’s practice ranges from printmaking, drawing and film to textiles and bookmaking. She is creating a series of lush textile wall-hangings for this event. Expect to see unique textured pieces that will make a statement in your home, or make a notable Christmas gift.

Combining mysticism and minimalism, Ellie uses locally sourced and thrifted materials to create unique, handcrafted jewelry. Originally from Tasmania, she is inspired by Vancouver’s beautiful autumn, and aims to capture it in each piece.

Noa Levi Crochet
Noa will be selling her beautiful handmade crochet work including gloves and hats.

Jacquelyn Wood Artist
Jacquelyn is a multimedia artist, working with printmaking, painting, and photography. Though she works within many fields, her conceptual practice continually revolves around the environment and she incorporates a natural feel into each of her works. She will be featuring pieces from her (Still) Life series: an expression of the emotional and physical connections we have with our surrounding environment. Created as a way to describe, accept, and find beauty within these periods of change, (Still) Life acknowledges what we no longer have, and cautions us to not accept more than we can return. (Still) Life instills a notion of where our actions can lead if we proceed through life selfishly and without compassion.
