Lounge & Tasting Room Manager

About Us

The Role
As one of the original Craft Distillers in BC, our growth requires a passionate and creative full-time Lounge & Tasting Room Manager to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with all our teams to manage and promote our cocktail lounge & tasting room. This is an opportunity for someone with creative juices and a can-do attitude to build their role and help shape the customer experience of Odd.

Responsibilities

– Managing all Front of House operations including bar service, retail sales, tasting and tours, special events and large groups.
– Assisting in marketing activities, including social media support, lounge activity campaigns, newsletter & subscription program promotion, and new product releases.
– A willingness to be featured in social media posts, including videos and photos
– Delivering memorable experiences with guests to promote the Odd Society portfolio of spirits and encourage retail purchases of spirit bottles, merchandise and activities.
– Collaborating with our marketing and sales team to manage our Lounge events, buy-outs, and large groups.
– Assist in the development and delivery of new client experiences including Tasting & Tours, Cocktail Classes, and other events or ideas.
– Handling FOH financial reporting, cost control, labor management and budget tracking.
– Working scheduled bar service shifts and assisting in lounge events.
– Managing, training and developing new team members.
– Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean, organized and safe environment.

What We’re Looking For

– Multiple years of cocktail bartending experience.
– Experience in developing and managing front of house or similar event type space.
– Proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring exceptional customer service.
– Detail oriented, organized, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
– Excellent communication skills.
– Ability to work both independently and alongside others.
– Super creative with innovative ideas and a positive attitude.
– Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Brand Ambassador

Part-Time / Casual – Events & Farmers Markets

The Role
We’re looking for an outgoing, reliable, and enthusiastic Brand Ambassador to represent Odd Society Spirits at public tastings, farmers markets, and community events. You’ll be the face of our brand—educating customers, sharing our story, and creating memorable tasting experiences.

Responsibilities

-Host and manage in-store tastings and sampling events

-Represent Odd Society Spirits at farmers markets and local festivals

-Educate customers about our spirits, production methods, and brand story

-Drive product awareness and sales in a professional, engaging manner

-Set up and take down tasting/event displays

-Track event feedback and report key insights to the team

What We’re Looking For

-Friendly, confident, and comfortable speaking to the public

-Passion for craft spirits, food, and local producers

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills

-Self-motivated and dependable

-Must be of legal drinking age

-Valid driver’s licence

-Serving It Right preferred

-Ability to lift 40 lbs and stand for extended periods

-Weekend availability is essential

Bonus If You Have

-Previous brand ambassador or promotional experience

-Sales or hospitality background

-Knowledge of craft spirits or mixology
