Commodore Canadian Single Malt Whisky
Beckoning Back to its Scottish Heritage
Commodore honours tradition—beckoning back to a Scottish heritage—while proudly thriving in its West Coast berth. This refined spirit is distilled with 100% BC grown, malted barley. To that, it owes its distinctive peppery-sweetness, along with its dark fruit and tobacco notes. This single malt is unyieldingly confident and proudly declares: welcome to the New World.

Prospector Canadian Rye Whisky
Standing head-to-head with ryes of yesteryear
Prospector is 100% Northern BC rye, transformed into liquid, steam, and back again. It is then coaxed into new, heavily charred American White Oak barrels. With a heady nose of brown sugar, dried prune, vanilla and oak, this full-bodied rye melts on the tongue into light spice and stone fruit notes, leaving with a crisp, dry finish like crackling leaves. Prospector stands head-to-head with ryes of yesteryear while striving for a distinctly West Coast experience.

East Van Vodka
A Tribute to East Van
For the makers and doers, the dreamers and inventors. For the artists and artisans, the hardworking and the inspired. This spirit is for the odd ones. It’s for the proud and the quirky, the charming and misunderstood.
Made from 100% malted barley grown in Prince George and malted in Armstrong, East Van Vodka is distilled in our small-batch, European-made, copper pot stills before being lightly filtered and proudly blended with purified Vancouver water.
Unlike most vodkas, East Van Vodka is not a completely neutral spirit. It is lightly fragrant, sweet-smelling and incredibly smooth. Sip it straight if you want to. Consider it a single malt vodka.

Wallflower Gin
A Shy Coastal Beauty
Crafted from the grain up, this complex introvert is made from our 100% BC-grown barley spirit infused with west coast and international botanicals. Wallflower is distilled in small batches in a specially designed copper pot still that combines two great gin-making traditions – maceration and vapour extraction. The result is a craft spirit that is rich and aromatic, yet light and refreshing.
Wallflower presents a beguiling character that takes one sip to fall in love with, but many sips to truly comprehend.

Oaken Wallflower Gin
Barrel-Aged in Oak
Wallflower Oaken Gin shares similar properties with the original Wallflower Gin with its base of 100% BC-grown barley distilled with botanicals familiar and exotic. But while their nature may be the same, the nurturing they receive is what separates and defines them.
Once distilled, this gin is aged for several months in oaken whisky barrels to impart it with the smooth smoky flavours of its confines. These qualities intermingle with the complex Wallflower botanicals to create a wholly unique and unmistakable personality.
Wallflower Oaken Gin is an eccentric character that defies easy categorization and seeks our adventurous acquaintances.

Mongrel
Straight Off the Still, Unaged And Unadulterated
Spirits like Mongrel were called white dog, white lightning or just plain ol’ moonshine during prohibition. We could call it whisky if it spent three years in a barrel, but Mongrel goes straight from still to bottle, which is why it’s missing that traditional whisky brown colour. Mongrel is naked, raw and pure.
Mongrel is from hardy stock. It’s made from 100% rye grown in Dawson Creek, British Columbia. Perfectly suited for Canada’s harsh winters, rye is tough to distill, but taming it is worth the effort.
While Mongrel may seem like a savage beast at 100 proof, it’s a loyal and true companion. It’ll still howl at the moon, but it won’t maul any neighbourhood pets.

Crème de Cassis
Master Chef Hervé Martin’s Secret Family Recipe
Our crème de cassis is based on the secret recipe of our dear friend and Odd Society fellow, master Chef Hervé Martin.
Once the personal chef to the Late King Leopold III of Belgium and a chef in two Michelin 3 star restaurants in France and Switzerland, Hervé has criss-crossed the globe setting up award-winning restaurants where he treated his most loyal guests to gifts of his homemade crème de cassis.
After years of jetsetting, Hervé found love and set down roots in Vancouver where he opened The French Table. The Odd Society is honoured to partner with Hervé to produce this French classic made with the finest BC-grown blackcurrants. The best of Europe and the best of BC in a bottle. À votre santé!

Mia Amata Amaro
My Beloved
Distiller Gordon Glanz produced this Italian digestif with his daughter Mia Glanz, who studied ethnobotany at the University of British Columbia. Along with being a nod to her name, Mia Amata translates to “my beloved” in Italian.
Mia Amata unites expressive fruits, flowers, barks, roots and resins; indigenous aphrodisiacs from Brazil blended with myrrh gum from Somalia, kola nut from West Africa, candied plum from Persia, cacao and vanilla bean from Mexico, mace from India, and elderflower and magnolia from British Columbia. Bitter on first approach, this complex elixir reveals flavours of dark chocolate, orange, plum, nut and mint in a sweet finish.
Mia Amata is an Italian digestif liqueur to be mixed in a cocktail, enjoyed after a meal with ice, or served chilled and neat.

Maple Rye Canadian Whisky
Sugar and spice makes everything nice
As an experiment, we aged rye whisky in ex-maple syrup 30 liter barrels for four years. To round out the flavor we blended in some maple smoked single malt just prior to bottling. The resulting whisky is robust and spicy, with notes of dried apricots, cassia, and toasted marshmallow, with a lingering silky maple finish.

Smoke & Oak: Garryana Oak Whisky
A little smoke from a local oak
Garryana Oak whisky is the second release in our Smoke & Oak series. It includes malt that has been smoked with Garry wood, the only oak species native to BC and has been aged for four years in once-used American White Oak barrels.
This Smoke & Oak has a tobacco style smoke on the nose and a buttery rich mouth feel. The flavour is reminiscent of smores by a campfire with burnt brown sugar sweetness and graham cracker biscuits. Sarsaparilla, sassafras, mace and cocoa powder also come through to end in a nice, crisp finish.

Boneyard Whisky
Our 10th Year Anniversary Whisky!
Boneyard is a testament to our whisky heritage. With an “Odd” nod to the Solera method, we collected a liter or so from every bottling session since we began releasing whisky in 2016, and have been saving it in two special casks. These casks became known as the boneyard. Rye, single malt, maple whisky, peated malt, and smoked malt were all married together in the boneyard barrels. The oldest addition is now over seven years old and the youngest four. The whisky itself is wonderfully unique, complex, and rich.

Community Collaborations Bomber Brewing IPA & Double IPA Whiskies
A Unique and Hoppy Marriage
Our Bomber Brewing IPA whiskies are the third and fourth whiskies in our Community collaboration whisky series. Odd Society teamed up with Bomber Brewing, located just a few blocks away in East Van.
The mash is loosely based on their Pacific Northwest IPA. The hops used were Centennial, Chinook, and Cascade hops. For the double IPA, we put Cashmere hops in the gin basket and ran the final spirits vapours through the hops to extract more flavours.
The whiskies are incredibly unique with lots of tropical fruit like mango, pineapple, papaya, on the nose as well as the palate, with lingering pleasing hoppy bitter notes. The Double IPA is definitely more of a flavour bomb, oily and rich, almost gin-like. Try both side by side to choose your favourite.

Salal Gin
A West Coast Take on a British Liqueur
With a mandate to source locally grown ingredients, Odd Society Spirits founder and distiller Gordon Glanz set out to find a berry that grows in abundance in British Columbia. Instead of utilizing traditional hard-tasting blackthorn berries, Glanz used salal berries harvested on B.C.’s Sunshine Coast, Cortez Island, and Haida Gwaii. Handpicked salal berries were steeped in Odd Society Spirits’ Wallflower Gin for many months to create a brand new liqueur that is complex, sweet, tart and herbaceous, with a natural hint of oregano.

Maple Canadian Whisky
An Ode to the Canadian Spirit
Maple Whisky draws many of its unique flavours from the maple tree. Odd Society smokes its malted barley with maple wood and then ages the distilled spirit for a minimum of three years in oak casks that were previously used to age maple syrup. Robust, with a slight smoky aroma and a touch of silky maple sweetness, this whisky is warm and rich enough to carry one through a long, cold winter.

Robbie Burns Whisky
A beautiful tribute to an enduring master of words
Our second whisky in honour of Robbie Burns. Scotland’s national poet is known the world over for his work which centered on universal themes such as love and nature.
This release was aged for five years in once-used, American white oak, ex-rye barrels. It is a deliciously light, easy sipping dram that is bright, smoky, peaty with caramelized honey and straw on the nose. The palate has rich honey notes, chewy nut brittle, and a slightly spicy, mineral briny salinity. The whisky ends with a clean woodfire smoke finish.

Peat&Smoke: Washington | Scottish
A Taste of Islay Comes to the West Coast
Odd Society presents two softly smoked styles of peated whisky that honour old and new in its inaugural Peat & Smoke release. Distillers Gordon Glanz and Joel McNichol procured peated malt from Scotland and Washington State, coaxing specific characteristics from each to create two distinguishable whiskies that uniquely express the region from which the peat was sourced.
The Washington whisky is delicate with a lick of campfire smoke and touch of brininess—it’s the taste of the Pacific Northwest—while the Scottish is much more phenolic and viscous with classic Islay whisky characteristics.
