As a cask owner, you enjoy “visitation rights”, which means Odd Society hosts a once-yearly tasting event for all cask owners, at which you can taste and follow the progress of your whisky. The Acorn Restaurant and Odd Society collaborate on “A Distiller’s Dinner”
Please mark your calendars for The Acorn Restaurant collaborative dinner on Sunday, January 24 at 7:00 pm. Acorn Restaurant is offering a five-course vegetarian extravaganza. Each course is paired with an Odd Society cocktail or spirit. If you haven’t been to Acorn, treat yourself to an amazing evening of vegetarian delights. Acorn was chosen one of the top 10 new restaurants in Canada in 2014 by Enroute Magazine. They have been a big supporter since we opened and we are extremely grateful. A Video/Commercial featuring East Van Vodka
About a month ago, Odd Society was approached by RJ Sauer of Alterna Films. Alterna Films is a Vancouver-based production company for TV, film, commercials and web. In their own words, they specialize in visual storytelling. RJ had a fully developed story line for a spirits commercial that they wanted to enter in international competitions and use in their portfolio to attract new clients. They had the idea; they were just searching for the right spirit/label to use. Enter East Van Vodka. Since the action is set in the Deep South during civil war times, Cornelius, the mustached owl on the bottle was an amazing fit. We won’t give away the story line but we are very excited to see and share the final cut.
